A Child Made This is a naive hand drawn display font with tall irregular letterforms, uneven proportions and a deliberately childlike finish that looks like someone drew the alphabet quickly and decided it was good enough.
A Child Made This is for projects that need quirky, naive, awkward, playful and extremely unserious typography. The letterforms are intentionally uneven, slightly silly and full of handmade personality, making it much more suited to expressive branding, posters and maximalist design than anything clean, polished or corporate.
The thin, scratchy construction gives it a loose marker-drawn feel, while the inconsistent widths and heights keep every word looking spontaneous and slightly unpredictable.
This is an all caps font, made for graphic designers, illustrators, artists, poster makers, branding designers, small businesses and Etsy sellers who want typography that feels personal, imperfect and noticeably handmade.
Perfect for:
• Posters and art prints
• Quirky branding and logos
• Editorial layouts
• Packaging design
• Album artwork
• Merchandise and apparel
• Social media graphics
• Product labels
• Stickers and stationery
• Creative campaigns
• Naive and maximalist design
What’s Included:
• OTF font file
• TTF font file
• All caps characters
• Numbers and punctuation
• Personal use licence
• Commercial use licence
Please note that A Child Made This is intentionally handmade, naive and imperfect. Letterforms, spacing, proportions, alignment and overall form may vary throughout the character set. Uneven baselines, awkward shapes and irregular spacing are deliberate parts of the design rather than errors, and some manual kerning or individual letter placement may be useful depending on your layout.
Compatible with Photoshop, Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Procreate and other software that supports installed fonts. Canva Pro is required to upload custom fonts.
Webfont use is not included. Please get in touch if you need a webfont licence.
