Unnatural Disaster is a rough hand drawn display font with elongated letterforms, heavy brush-like shapes and deliberately distressed edges that give it a raw, inky feel.
Unnatural Disaster is for projects that need quirky, naive, messy and slightly unhinged typography with absolutely no interest in looking polished. It feels handmade, imperfect and deliberately unserious, making it a strong choice for expressive branding, grungy posters, alternative artwork and personality-driven design.
The irregular proportions and rough painted construction give it the energy of handmade signage, DIY gig graphics, underground posters and lettering that was drawn quickly and left exactly as it was.
This is an all caps font, designed for graphic designers, illustrators, artists, poster makers, musicians, clothing brands, branding designers, small businesses and Etsy sellers looking for typography that feels bold, rough and full of character.
Perfect for:
• Gig posters and event graphics
• Album covers and record sleeves
• Alternative branding
• Posters and art prints
• Streetwear and apparel
• Packaging design
• Editorial layouts
• Zines and independent publishing
• Social media graphics
• Stickers and merchandise
• Creative campaigns
• Statement typography
What’s Included:
• OTF font file
• TTF font file
• All caps characters
• Numbers and punctuation
• Personal use licence
• Commercial use licence
Please note that Unnatural Disaster is intentionally handmade and imperfect. Letterforms, spacing, proportions, alignment and overall form may vary throughout the character set. Rough edges, distressed shapes, unusual proportions and irregular spacing are deliberate features rather than errors, and some manual kerning or letter placement may be useful depending on your layout.
Compatible with Photoshop, Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Procreate and other software that supports installed fonts. Canva Pro is required to upload custom fonts.
Webfont use is not included. Please get in touch if you need a webfont licence.
